Internship Terms and Conditions
These Internship Terms and Conditions set out the general policy governing internship opportunities offered by Logirtha Technologies Private Limited. Please read them carefully before applying for or participating in an internship.
By applying for, accepting, or participating in an internship, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review these terms. Where applicable, your acceptance may be recorded through the application, enrolment confirmation, offer letter, or separate written acknowledgement. These terms are subject to applicable law.
The specific terms communicated in your internship confirmation, offer letter, or other official communication will apply to your individual internship where they address your particular arrangement.
1. Purpose of the Internship
At Logirtha Technologies Private Limited, we believe an internship should provide students with meaningful practical exposure, project experience, professional working experience, and opportunities to learn from real-world situations.
Our objective is not simply to provide an internship certificate.
We want students to:
Learn → Practice → Build → Contribute → Take Ownership → Gain Experience
Our internship structure is therefore based on internship duration, existing knowledge, training requirements, project involvement, performance, and the student’s willingness to learn.
2. Internship Duration
Students may apply for internships of different durations depending on their requirements and eligibility. Current duration options may include 15, 30, 45, or 60 days, and 3 months or more, subject to the selected program, availability, eligibility, and confirmation from the company.
However, we generally recommend a minimum of 3 months for students who want meaningful practical exposure.
Very short internships, such as 15 or 30 days, may provide limited exposure. We cannot guarantee that such a short duration will provide comprehensive knowledge, sufficient practical experience, or complete understanding of a particular technology or domain.
The actual learning outcome depends on the student’s existing knowledge, participation, effort, project complexity, and willingness to learn. The duration offered to an individual student will be confirmed during the application or selection process.
3. Internship Fee Structure
A. Internship Below 3 Months
For internships below 3 months:
Internship Fee will be applicable.
If the student chooses structured training along with the internship:
Training Fee will also be applicable.
The applicable fee may vary depending on:
- Internship duration
- Selected domain
- With Training / Without Training
- Project requirements
- Training requirements
- Level of support required
In simple terms:
Below 3 Months = Internship Fee + Training Fee (only if Training is selected)
B. Internship of 3 Months or More
For internships of 3 months or more:
No Internship Fee will be applicable, subject to the student’s eligibility, selection, availability, and applicable internship terms.
If the student additionally chooses structured training:
Training Fee will be applicable for the training component.
In simple terms:
3 Months or More = No Internship Fee + Training Fee (only if Training is selected)
Fee Structure Summary
| Internship Duration | Internship Fee | Training Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Below 3 Months | Applicable | Applicable if Training is selected |
| 3 Months or More | No Internship Fee | Applicable if Training is selected |
Important: Internship Fee and Training Fee are separate components.
4. Why Do We Collect a Fee for Short-Term Internships?
Short-term internships require additional training/support resources, while maintaining a controlled number of interns allows us to provide meaningful project guidance.
For this reason, an internship fee is applicable for internships below 3 months.
The purpose is not simply to charge students for an internship or certificate.
The fee structure helps us maintain a manageable internship environment, control the number of participating interns, and provide appropriate guidance and project support.
5. With Training vs. Without Training
Students may choose whether they require structured training depending on their existing knowledge and learning requirements.
With Training
The student will receive separate structured training/classes/sessions along with project work.
Depending on the selected domain, this may include:
- Domain-specific training
- Practical sessions
- Technical guidance
- Project-based learning
- Doubt clarification
- Project support
- Guidance from the team
With Training = Training + Project Work + Guidance
Without Training
No separate structured training/classes/sessions will be provided.
The student will primarily work on projects and receive guidance/support when required.
Students who already have sufficient knowledge in their selected domain may choose this option.
Without Training = Project Work + Guidance
Online and Offline Modes
Depending on the program, internships may be offered online or offline. The mode, schedule, expected daily hours, training arrangements, task allocation, and method of providing guidance will be communicated for the selected program before the student confirms participation.
Online participation may involve remote classes or task/project work with guidance through the communication channels specified by the company. Offline participation requires attendance at the designated office according to the confirmed schedule. Availability of a particular mode may vary by program.
6. Flexible Training Option
Students joining an internship below 3 months do not necessarily have to take structured training for the entire internship period.
For example, for a 3-month internship, a student may choose:
Option 1
Take structured training for 1 month and continue the remaining 2 months with project work and guidance without additional training.
Option 2
Continue with structured training throughout the internship period, subject to the applicable training fee.
The choice depends on the student’s existing knowledge and learning requirements.
Students are not forced to select training for the entire internship period.
7. Eligibility for Internships of 3 Months or More
Students applying for internships of 3 months or more may be required to demonstrate their existing knowledge in the selected domain.
Students may provide:
- Existing projects
- Academic projects
- Personal projects
- GitHub repositories
- Portfolio
- Previous work
- Relevant work samples
Even a small project can be useful.
The purpose is not to expect students to already be experts.
It is to understand the student’s current level of knowledge and determine whether they are ready for a longer-term internship.
Selection for a longer internship is subject to the company’s assessment, available opportunities, and project requirements.
Application and Confirmation
Applicants may be asked to select their domain, preferred mode, training option, and duration and to provide the details or documents requested in the application process. The company may review applications, verify eligibility, request further information, and conduct selection before confirming an internship. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection or commencement. The internship begins after the applicable arrangement has been confirmed by the company.
8. AICTE Internship Programs
Where an internship is offered through an applicable AICTE internship program, eligibility, application, selection, duration, mode, and other conditions will follow the requirements of that specific program and the applicable official process.
- A minimum commitment of 1 month (4 weeks or 30 days) may be required for the applicable AICTE internship program.
- Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements of the specific program. For applicable programs, this may include being currently enrolled in an eligible degree program at an AICTE-approved or affiliated institution.
- Selection may take place through the AICTE National Internship Portal or another official process specified for that opportunity.
- The stipend-based AICTE internship track described in our program information requires a minimum 3-month commitment and is offered offline only, subject to eligibility, selection, availability, and the terms confirmed for that opportunity.
- For the specified stipend-based AICTE track, no training fee is required under the program terms communicated for that track. This does not automatically apply to other internship or training options.
AICTE-related eligibility or selection is not guaranteed merely by applying. Applicants should follow the requirements and instructions published for the relevant official opportunity. The applicable offer or confirmation will clarify the terms for the selected internship.
9. Stipend-Based Internship Opportunity
Students who initially join an internship may have an opportunity to move into a stipend-based internship based on their performance.
This opportunity may apply to students who join:
- With Training, or
- Without Training
However:
Stipend is not guaranteed.
Payment of an internship fee or training fee does not automatically qualify a student for a stipend.
Stipend consideration is based on the student’s actual performance, contribution, learning progress, responsibility, and overall internship conduct.
10. Performance Evaluation
We do not evaluate students only based on technical knowledge.
Performance may be evaluated based on several factors, including:
- Learning curiosity
- Willingness to learn
- Technical improvement
- Project progress
- Quality of work
- Team collaboration
- Initiative
- Responsibility
- Ownership
- Consistency
- Professional behaviour
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accept feedback and improve
- Commitment towards assigned responsibilities
- Effective use of available time
- Contribution to the team and projects
We also consider how seriously a student invests their time, effort, and available resources during the internship.
11. No Fixed Timeline to Prove Performance
We do not follow an artificial rule such as:
“You must prove yourself within 15 days.”
or:
“You must become eligible for a stipend within 30 days.”
Every student has a different background, level of knowledge, learning speed, availability, and project complexity.
A student may demonstrate strong performance on:
Day 1, Day 15, Day 30, Day 60, Day 90, or at another stage.
Performance consideration is therefore based on actual progress rather than an artificial deadline.
However, Logirtha Technologies Private Limited may conduct internal progress reviews to understand the student’s development and determine suitable responsibilities and opportunities.
12. Stipend Range
The stipend offered to eligible interns may vary depending on:
- Performance
- Contribution
- Responsibilities
- Technical capability
- Project involvement
- Role
- Overall internship progress
Historically, stipend amounts at Logirtha have started from approximately ₹3,000 per month, while some interns have received up to ₹15,000 per month.
There is currently no fixed maximum stipend limit.
The actual stipend, if offered, will depend on the student’s performance, role, company requirements, and applicable terms communicated by the company.
13. Additional Training Opportunities for Stipend-Based Interns
If a student is promoted to a stipend-based internship, they may have the opportunity to attend other relevant training programs conducted by Logirtha Technologies Private Limited without an additional training fee.
This is subject to:
- Internship responsibilities
- Available time
- Training schedule
- Relevance of the program
- Internal availability
This benefit does not guarantee admission to every training program at any time.
Participation must be compatible with the student’s internship responsibilities and schedule.
14. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
- Be responsible for assigned work
- Be willing to learn
- Take initiative
- Ask questions when clarification is required
- Communicate professionally
- Work sincerely on assigned projects
- Take ownership of their responsibilities
- Respect mentors, team members, and other interns
- Follow company instructions and processes
- Maintain professional behaviour
- Make genuine efforts to improve
- Respect applicable deadlines and commitments
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information
An internship is a two-way learning experience.
The company provides opportunities, guidance, and support, while students are expected to actively participate and make use of those opportunities.
15. Attendance, Leave and Participation
Students are expected to maintain reasonable attendance and active participation throughout the internship.
Students who require leave due to academic examinations, personal circumstances, or other valid reasons should communicate with the company or concerned mentor in advance whenever possible.
Repeated absence, lack of communication, or prolonged inactivity may affect:
- Internship continuation
- Project allocation
- Performance evaluation
- Stipend consideration
- Certificate eligibility
Unapproved or repeated absence may also be considered grounds for termination.
16. Project and Work Expectations
Interns may be assigned or allowed to work on projects based on:
- Their domain
- Existing knowledge
- Learning progress
- Internship duration
- Project availability
- Business requirements
Students are expected to:
- Complete assigned responsibilities sincerely
- Submit work within agreed timelines where applicable
- Follow technical and project guidelines
- Maintain appropriate documentation
- Take ownership of their work
- Accept feedback and make improvements
Project allocation cannot be guaranteed to be identical for every student.
17. Internship / Training Termination
Logirtha Technologies Private Limited reserves the right to discontinue or terminate an internship and/or training at any stage, including with immediate effect, if the company determines that continuation is not appropriate.
This may include, but is not limited to:
- Consistently poor performance
- Lack of meaningful progress
- Lack of participation or commitment
- Repeated failure to complete assigned responsibilities
- Lack of willingness to learn or improve
- Misconduct
- Unprofessional behaviour
- Violation of company rules or instructions
- Misuse of company resources
- Misuse or unauthorized disclosure of company/client information
- Plagiarism or copying
- Submitting another person’s work as their own
- Repeated unauthorized absence
- Lack of communication
- Behaviour that negatively affects the team or working environment
- Any other circumstances where the company determines that continuation is not appropriate
The company may terminate the internship/training with immediate effect depending on the seriousness and circumstances of the issue.
18. Refund on Early Discontinuation
If an internship or training program ends before the paid duration is completed, the applicable fee for the unused remaining period will be refunded according to the company’s refund calculation.
The refund is calculated based on the duration already completed.
Refund Formula
Refund Amount = Total Fee Paid − Fee Applicable for the Completed Period
The fee applicable for the completed period is calculated proportionately based on the number of completed days against the paid duration.
Formula:
Refund Amount = Total Fee Paid − [Total Fee Paid × (Completed Days ÷ Paid Duration in Days)]
Example
If a student pays ₹3,000 for 30 days and completes 20 days:
Fee for completed period = ₹3,000 × (20 ÷ 30) = ₹2,000
Refund = ₹3,000 − ₹2,000 = ₹1,000
Therefore, the applicable fee for the remaining 10 days will be refunded.
The same refund calculation applies whether the internship/training ends because:
- The student voluntarily discontinues the internship, or
- Logirtha Technologies Private Limited terminates the internship/training.
Training already provided does not create a separate non-refundable charge. The applicable refund is calculated based on the completed period.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds will generally be processed within 7–10 working days from confirmation of the applicable refund.
In certain cases, the processing period may be longer depending on the payment method, banking/payment gateway processing, verification requirements, or other circumstances.
19. Internship Certificate Duration Policy
The certificate duration will normally reflect the actual eligible duration completed by the student.
For normally completed internships, the certificate duration does not need to be rounded.
For example:
- 7 days completed → 7-Day Internship Certificate
- 17 days completed → 17-Day Internship Certificate
- 21 days completed → 21-Day Internship Certificate
- 30 days completed → 30-Day Internship Certificate
Rounding in Case of Early Termination
Rounding is applicable only when an internship is terminated before the originally agreed duration and the company decides to issue a certificate for the eligible completed period.
In such cases, the completed duration may be rounded down to the nearest applicable certificate duration.
For example:
- 7 days completed → 5-Day Certificate
- 12 days completed → 10-Day Certificate
- 17 days completed → 15-Day Certificate
- 21 days completed → 20-Day Certificate
The certificate will never represent a duration greater than the eligible period actually completed.
20. Certificate Status on Early Cancellation
Successfully Completed Agreed Internship
Status: Completed
An Internship Completion Certificate may be issued for the applicable completed duration when the student successfully completes the agreed internship and satisfies the applicable completion requirements.
Internship Ended Early
Status: Cancelled
If the internship ends before the originally agreed duration, an eligible certificate may be issued for the applicable completed period, subject to the student’s conduct, participation, and certificate eligibility.
Student Voluntarily Discontinues
Status: Cancelled - Personal Reason
If a student voluntarily discontinues the internship for personal reasons, an eligible certificate may be issued for the applicable completed period, subject to the student’s conduct, participation, and certificate eligibility.
The refund will be calculated according to the same applicable refund policy.
Serious Misconduct / Fraud / Major Policy Violation
Status: Cancelled - Policy Violation
In cases involving serious misconduct, fraud, plagiarism, major policy violations, misuse of confidential information, or other serious violations, Logirtha Technologies Private Limited may choose not to issue any internship certificate.
21. E-Certificate Verification
The e-certificate verification system may display the current status of an issued certificate.
Possible statuses may include:
- Completed
- Cancelled
- Cancelled - Personal Reason
- Cancelled - Policy Violation
A cancelled certificate does not represent successful completion of the originally agreed internship duration.
The verification system may display only the information necessary to verify the authenticity and status of the certificate and will not disclose unnecessary personal or confidential information.
22. Certificate Does Not Guarantee Employment
An internship certificate confirms the applicable internship participation/completion period.
It does not guarantee:
- Employment
- Job placement
- Stipend
- Future internship
- Full-time employment
- A particular role
- A particular salary
- Selection for any future opportunity
Any future employment or stipend opportunity will be based on separate eligibility, performance, availability, and company requirements.
23. No Automatic Guarantee Through Fee Payment
Payment of an internship fee or training fee does not automatically guarantee:
- Stipend
- Employment
- Job placement
- A particular project
- A particular role
- A specific stipend amount
- Internship continuation
- Internship Completion Certificate
Fees are charged for the applicable internship/training services and support selected by the student.
Opportunities such as stipend-based internships and future employment are performance-based and subject to availability.
24. Professional Conduct and Confidentiality
Interns may receive access to company, client, project, technical, business, or other confidential information during their internship.
Students must:
- Keep confidential information private
- Not share internal information without authorization
- Not misuse company/client data
- Not copy or distribute confidential project materials
- Follow applicable security and data-handling instructions
- Respect intellectual property and project ownership
Any serious violation may result in immediate termination and may affect certificate eligibility.
25. Student Withdrawal
Students who wish to discontinue their internship should communicate with the company or concerned mentor.
The applicable refund and certificate terms will depend on:
- The duration already completed
- The paid period
- The reason for withdrawal
- Applicable fee/refund terms
- Certificate eligibility
- The student’s conduct and participation
The same applicable refund calculation will be used for voluntary withdrawal.
Leaving an internship early does not automatically entitle the student to a full refund or a certificate for the originally planned duration.
26. Continuation and Future Opportunities
Students who demonstrate strong performance may be considered for:
- Extended internship opportunities
- Stipend-based internships
- Additional responsibilities
- Advanced projects
- Additional training opportunities
- Potential employment opportunities, where available
Such opportunities are not automatic and depend on:
- Student performance
- Available roles
- Business requirements
- Technical capability
- Team requirements
- Company’s selection process
27. Final Terms
The internship structure, duration, fee, training, project allocation, stipend, certificate, continuation, and other terms may vary based on the student’s selected program and individual circumstances.
The specific terms communicated in the student’s internship confirmation, offer letter, or other official communication from Logirtha Technologies Private Limited will apply to that particular internship.
Logirtha Technologies Private Limited reserves the right to update or modify its internship structure, policies, fees, training programs, and processes when required.
Our Internship Philosophy
We do not measure an intern only by how much they already know.
We also look at how they learn, how they work, how they respond to challenges, how they take responsibility, and how they contribute.
A student can create opportunities through consistent effort and genuine involvement.
Learn → Practice → Build → Contribute → Take Ownership → Grow
